This ride takes in some beautiful countryside in the Gaume region and leads at the summit of a gentle slope to the site of Montquintin, a veritable eagle’s nest overlooking the valley of the River Ton. Cheerful, charming villages such as Torgny, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Wallonia”, echo the mildness of the Gaume climate.

La Chapelle Notre-Dame de Luxembourg

La vénération de Marie, consolatrice des affligés, date de 1624. Les services de la Vierge ont été particulièrement sollicités lorsque la peste de 1636 a ravagé la population. En 1729, un ermitage a été construit derrière la chapelle. Une religieuse à la retraite y a vécu depuis plus de 45 ans.
