Continue on foot along the forest track for 30 minutes to reach the
Cirque and Cabane de Campuls 0h 30 1400 m
Walk past the hut and up the grassy path to the left. This path narrows and winds up to a crossroads. Turn right, again uphill but less steeply, to reach the
GR10 1h10 1690 m
Take the GR to the right and let it lead you effortlessly to the lake as far as the
Étang d'Ayès 1h 15 1 694 m
To return, follow the path for 20 minutes, then descend on the path to the left of the Eliet hut.
Col d'Auédole 1h 40 1 725 m The path plunges into the forest (steep descent) to join the
Mount Ner trail 2h 20 1395 m
Head left up the track to find the Mount Net car park and the
starting point 2h 35 1435 m

From Castillon-en-Couserans, take the D4 towards Sentein. At Bordes sur Lez, turn left (D17), passing the Lac de Bethmale. Continue on the Mount Ner forest track (closed from October to mid-June) for around 20 minutes to the second car park (a barrier prevents vehicles from entering the Campuls cirque).
