A fun walk with interpretation panels to discover the geological curiosities of the Sourroque Massif, including the Degaudez chasm.
Great for the whole family!
0h - Start at the hunters' hut - At the sign describing the walk, follow the track for 300m and at the first bend, turn right onto the dirt track. Then walk along the Trémau meadow.
0h20 - Sinkhole interpretation totem pole - Turn left, then go straight ahead to enter the beech forest. Step over the cable (an old log skidding cable). When the climb eases, turn right onto a narrower path that leads to the Degaudez chasm (100m further on).
0h40 - Totem for interpreting the formation of a chasm. Then retrace your steps to return to the path you just left. Turn right and climb towards the Plagne plateau.
1h15 - Bench, 2 interpretation totems on logging techniques and the formation of a geological fold (syncline). Return to the forest track below. Go down the forest track and turn left twice.
