It is in Anzat-le-Luguet that this diversified 9 km tour begins. It offers a summary of the landscapes and hamlets of the Cézallier with beautiful views of the Forez mountains and an arrival near the medieval tower of Besse which dominates the valley.
Starting point - In front of the starting sign below the church, follow the road on the left towards the cemetery, go along it and go down the first road on the left. At the road, go up to the right, walk along a wood (panorama of Livradois-Forez to Margeride) and continue until you reach Besse.
1 - Take the grassy path on the right between low walls and skirting the tower (medieval tower from the 12th-13th centuries). At the road, go to the right and then go down the path opposite. Cross a stream and then the brook of La Bave (old sawmill). Go left on the path that runs along the stream and then rises into the woods. At the fork, keep to the right and go up to the road.
2 – Cross it and continue to the right to join a wide stone path. Turn right and continue straight ahead (view of Besse, Anzat-le-Luguet and Signal du Luguet). At a crossroads, go in front and go to a fork.
3 - Go to the right, and at the first houses of Lastauve, go down to the left. Cross the stream, the road and go up in front of the grassy path to Anzat-le-Luguet to reach the starting point.
