La Vélidéale - Parthenay à Bressuire

Parthenay, with its historic quarter of 100 timber-framed houses - the Rue de la Vau Saint-Jacques is the longest medieval street in Europe - takes the cyclist back to the time of the Seigneurs. Stroll along its winding lanes to enjoy magnificent panoramic views. Climb to the top of the flamboyant Porte Saint-Jacques to admire the rolling green countryside typical of the Gâtine region. Before heading off along the voie verte towards Fenery and Bressuire, the old railway station is the ideal place to picnic, refresh yourself or read a book left at your disposal
