De Bergerac à Rocamadour Etape 10

Description

Former pilgrimage route of 180 kilometers to join the Perigord to Rocamadour, this magnificent route is now marked out, and allows you to cross the vineyards and hills of Bergerac in complete safety, before going along the green Dordogne valley and its cliffs, to arrive in the valley of the Ouysse.
Starting from Grolejac la Mouline for this tenth stage, you will cross the village of Veyrignac and its church Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens then you will find the river at the level of the castle of Fénelon. You can admire its circular towers and its roofs covered with lauzes. Opposite Fénelon, on the other side of the Dordogne, stands the fortified village of Carlux where you can see the ruins of the ramparts, the entrance towers and the keep of the old castle. Before leaving the village, you will admire a curious gothic chimney called "sarrazine".
