Description
A pleasant stroll close to the beach, combining history and culture. The walk passes through the Square des Grands Principes Républicains. This place of remembrance highlights the motto "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, Laïcité". Numerous portraits of personalities who have left their mark on our history can be seen here (Charles de Gaulle, Simone Veil, Samuel Paty...). The walk continues to the Port Ostréicole. Here, you can sample oysters in oyster shacks, and sample seafood dishes in restaurants.
Continue along the Chemin des Lapins (access via the footbridge opposite Chez Pépé restaurant). A series of photographs by 4 renowned photographers are on display until October. Jeanne Taris (patron of the event), Fab Rideti, Chantal Serène and Philippe Rochot present some of their work.
