Miolles, a charming little village, situated at the gateway to the Aveyron, is renowned for its fruit production. This village, set in the valley, offers a microclimate that is favourable to the development of orchards.
The cultivation of orchards in Miolles is ancient but a revival of fruit trees planted "in orchard" at the beginning of the 20th century took place thanks to Mr Rabaud. This activity brought new wealth to this mountain region. The fruit was sold in Lacaune with a donkey and on the way back, the slate was brought back for the roofs.
This sector is also steeped in history, particularly in terms of archaeology. Indeed, in 1993 and 1994, two menhir statues were discovered in this commune, at a place called Le Terral. They were named: Terral 1 and Terral 2. On this occasion, the
