Along this heritage trail, discover the peninsula of Ambialet, its churches, its village and its Priory.

Around a schistose needle, the Tarn makes a long loop of 3 km. When the river seems to turn back, the peninsula of Ambialet is only about thirty metres wide.
This unique site, which was for more than two centuries the most important stronghold of the Albigensian region, still bears the traces of a prestigious past.

This tour will help you discover the various monuments and remains of Ambialet. From the old monastery, at the top of the promontory, you will have a spectacular view of the isthmus.
