The beginning of the trail takes you along the banks of the Tarn.
You will enjoy the movement of the river and the sound of the water. In summer, fishermen, canoeists and hikers will be part of the scenery. A little further on, the remains of the Trincat Mill.
Along the way, you will come across huts that bear witness to an ancient habitat used by men and livestock. Through paths and meadows, you will reach the top of the plateau where you will discover landscapes as far as the eye can see. As you descend through the heather and broom, you will have a breathtaking view of the meandering Tarn.
Around a schist needle, the Tarn makes a long loop of 3 km. When the river seems to turn back, the peninsula of Ambialet is only about 30 metres wide.
