7 - From Orange to Caderousse - from Roman city to the Green Island of the Rhône- N°7

A 3-hour, partially signposted ride from either Orange or Caderousse.

If you want to cycle in peace and quiet, at the heart of nature and in the shade, follow the “Green Island” trail. From the town centre, encircled by its imposing embankment, and where you can admire a historic heritage, you will set off along the River Rhone and its canals, and then along a greenway, guaranteeing perfect safety and tranquility. Come with your family, and enjoy cycling through a haven of peace.
Departure Tourist office towards the avenue Charles de Gaulle.
a. After the crossing on the A7, turn right and then left onto Chemin des Princes.
Continue straight on the road to Cairanne and the road to Cabanelles for about 4 kms.
b. Enter the village through the Castelan gate.
c. From the Léon Roche gate follow Clos d’Orange.
d. Turn left towards Orange on chemin des Terracles
