"The richness of Collioure and the untamed nature of the summits." Start towards the Royal Castle and head towards the suburb. Ascend towards the Hermitage of Notre-Dame de Consolation. At the Col de la Serre, follow the waterway path. Head left towards Pic Sailfort.

Discover the sandy coast and the city of Fauvism. In front of the church, take the cobbled street on the left and continue on rue Miradou in the direction of Fort Miradou. Go around it then turn right and take the sidewalks that run along the street towards the stadium parking lot. Turn right. Enter and cross the stadium parking lot to continue on the uphill path. Continue on the path to a private property gate to continue on your right and descend on the path to a concrete platform. Then go down on the right and take the stairs carved out of the shale cliff to reach the beach of Ouille. Cross the beach then go up the stairs and take the path that runs along the campsite. Continue on the trail while crossing two beaches. Go up the path built on the heights of the cliffs and take a small road on your right. Continue the path to reach Racou beach. Cross Racou beach towards the port of Argelès. Take a path on the left which goes around the Racou wetland. Continue while bypassing the technical area of ​​the port. Continue on the road then take the stairs on the right to follow the quays of the port. Leave the port by crossing the bridge to continue on the promenade along the beach of Argelès. Arriving in front of the pine wood take on your left to the Tourist Office situed at 200m at the end of the street in front of you. It's the right place to discover new activities...

Immersion in history. From the Tourist Office, turn right and take the footbridge then turn left, bypass the castle. Stay on the promenade that joins the Faubourg district. Continue to the left along the seafront. Then stay on the sidewalk along the D114 until the Port-Vendres roundabout. Take the second exit and turn right after rue Felix Mercader on the coastal path to Fort de la Mauresque, follow the seafront. At this point continue straight and pass in front of the auction then bypass the port by the rue de artillery, the quay of Obelisque, the quay of Health then the Quay Forgas. The Office of Touisme is located at the end.

Explore the City of Venus after you have marveled at Collioure. Start from the Collioure Tourist Office and take the promenade along the Royal Castle. In the Faubourg district, head left and follow the bay along the promenade, passing by the restaurants. The trail continues onto D114. Turn left above Anse dels Reguers and then return to the road. At the roundabout, turn left towards Anse and Fort de la Mauresque, then continue towards Redoute du Fanal and the fish market. Next, circle around the port, passing by the Obelisk, and proceed to the Tourist Office.

Experience the military atmosphère and spirituality of a hermitage, while hiking by breathtaking landscapes Follow the exit of the Glacis carpark and go down to the roundabout. Cross the street and go in front of the church, Rue du Temple. Pass under the railway, continue on Galère street as it crosses Chemin de Consolation and take the left to leave the village. Pass under the viaduct and go straight to the SaintThérése Oratory. Take the left path at the little bridge. Take the big paved path that leads to Consolation. Continue on the path, then take the rocky steps on the left to reach ConsolationBeyond that, the path runs along a fenced vineyard, and becomes gradually steeper & steeper as it approaches RD 86 and Col de la Serre vineyard. At the level of Col de la Serre, leave the road and climb the path on the left. Upon arriving at Mas de la Serre, continue on the left path and climb a steep slope towards the Taillefer Battery. Go back down towards the Col of Taillefer and continue on to the path that is in front of you, and after several turns, you will come upon the  Madeloc Tower . Enjoy the exceptional view on the Vermeille Coast, The Massane Tower and the Roussillon Plains. Go down by a small road to the la Batterie des 500 and go straight on the stony path opposite  that joins the GR 10 on right  .Do not leave to the Col of  Gascons. Continue towards the Vallaury Col. Bypass the Madeloc Massif by the Formingo Col, then pass Vallaurria. You’ll see several ruins on this path. At the crossroads, take the path on the right for 50 meters, and continue to the right after     having seen the Madeloc Tower. Follow this path on the hillside to the Col de la Serre. Come back to the hut of Mas de la Serra and continue left. Return to point 4 on this itinerary, and follow in reverse ,first on the road then by the path that goes down towards Notre-Dame-de-Consolation and Collioure. 

Getaway to beautiful vineyards where you are high above Big Blue, with views of terrace gardening and rocky scrubland From Glacis car park, get off at the roundabout. Take Temple street, which goes up on the left. Go under the railway and continue facing rue de la Galère. Go straight at the crossroad by the path of Consolacion (arrow "Consolation"), to a fork Go up to the left following the small road that leaves the village and arrive in the middle of terraced vineyards. Go under the road viaduct and continue straight on. After about 120 meters, pass the Saint-Therese oratory on left . Carry on until Notre-Dame-de-Consolation retreat by the paved ramp which starts hard on the right . Make a return-trip from this point to discover the site of Notre-Dame-de-Consolation.… Go back down to the bottom loop of the paved ramp by taking the same itinerary  “route in reverse”. Then turn right to climb to the Molló Coll .  Go left towards Port-Vendres. After 400 meters, at the Col de Mara Cara (view of Port-Vendres), take left on  the track DFCI-AL 45.  Pass the summit. Then take along slope on the main path after Coll d'en Raixat towards Fort Dugommier . After the rock, notice on left a path. Take quick left along small wall. This “balcony of Collioure” joins the Saint-Elme fort. At the bottom of the fort, go down to Collioure by a path on left headed for a mill. At the level of the paved ramp, reach the mill and bypass it on right, then carry on right lower in the slope. A series of stairs then leads to the corner of the Museum of Modern Art. Return left to the quays of Anse de la Balette. Go up the Démocratie street, then the Avenue du Général de Gaulle to resume your starting point (car park).

This hike starts from Port-Vendres and takes place on the site of Cap Béar where sublime views of the coast await you. Departure: Tourist Office of Port-Vendres. Head towards the Jetty, circumnavigate the harbor following the coastal path markings. Upon reaching the cove of the jetty, take the right path leading up to Fort Béar. Traverse after the rocky passage onto the trail towards the vineyard path. Turn left and proceed to Mas Valcros (Mas Pams). At the Bernardi beach, continue along the coastal path towards the beach and the Paulilles site. After the parking area, cross the railway track and follow the path to the Pont de l'Amour residential area. Return to the center of Port-Vendres by passing under the train tunnel, then turn right. Descend via the Strategic Road.

Voyager dans l'histoire Take the Pierre Forgas quay then the Fanal quay. Continue opposite on Arago Street which passes in front of the Notre-Dame de Bonne-Nouvelle church. Continue on the street then go up on rue de la Mirande. In a bend, go up to the left on the path that leads to the garrigue, then descend to the right to go up towards the Anse de la Mauresque. Go around the blockhouse on the right and go down to the Medical Institute "La Mauresque". Continue on the road then turn right. Go along the sidewalks for a few meters, along the D914. Go down to the right on The Oli cove. Go up towards the houses. Take the slope, descend to the right and pass under a bridge. Turn immediately left and continue straight to pass under a porch and head towards the next cove. Go around the creek by the path that goes up towards the sidewalks that continue to Collioure following the D 114. In Collioure, take the promenade along the coast. Go around the royal castle and take a footbridge on the right. Continue towards the beach and the church.

A walk along the buried water pipes, dating back to 1890. These pipes connected the water sources of Port-Vendres and supplied the municipality for over a century. Stunning viewpoints of Port-Vendres and Collioure. Depart from the Tourist Office. Turn left and climb the steps towards Place de la Castellane, then head towards the SNCF train station. Turn right onto Chemin du Val de Pintes. Leave Chemin du Val de Pintes to ascend to the right towards Fort Saint Elme. Take a detour to see the Fort. Go left onto the trail parallel to the paved road, then return to the road, admire Fort Dugommier, and head towards Coll d'en Raixat. At the Col, take the left path until reaching a small paved road, then turn left. Leave the road to take up a path. After a few dozen meters, return to the road to reach Col de Perdiguer. From the col, descend to the left on the old mule track of Port-Vendres until reaching the Pont de l'Amour housing estate. After crossing the D914, head left towards the train station, then back to the Tourist Office.

In the footsteps of the mule drivers. From the Tourist Office, climb the steps to Place de la Castellane. Enjoy a beautiful viewpoint over the bay and the marina. Cross the square in the middle and take Rue des Paquebots, then continue straight on via the double staircase. Once at the top, descend the Strategic Road to reach the parking lot of the SNCF train station. Follow Route de la Gare until you reach the entrance of Val de Pintes, a communal leisure area. Look to your right, where Fort Elme overlooks the ridge ahead. To the left, pass through the tunnel under the railway tracks and reach the D914. Cross the railway and go around the roundabout to the left to head up towards the Pont d'Amour housing estate. In the middle of the hill, take the old stone-paved path on the right, bordered by beautiful dry stone walls, which leads to Col du Perdiguer (120m). Cross the road and continue straight through the vineyard towards Cosprons. Head to the left. Turn left, then take a right after the bridge. Descend back to Port-Vendres via the Pont de l'Amour housing estate.

The Força Vella section of the ramparts was a military construction of decisive importance right from the times of the Roman precint (1bC). During the second half of the 14th century, this defensive rampart was thoroughly rebuilt at the initiative of Peter III the Ceremonious. The medieval fortification rested on the natural rock that rose a few meters above the sandy banks of the river Onyar.  It was an improvement over the old Roman wall which was used as a foundation, made into a double wall or even, in some sections, actually replaced by the new wall. From the early years of the 16th century, the walled precinct was absorbed into the city and the walls, by becoming features actually standing in the city, lost their military defensive value. This situation brought on the star of their deterioration, as parts of the walls were gradually altered from the inside and the outside to meet the needs of the people living alongside the fortification, by which time the former defensive construction had become an enormous party wall.  

Discovery of an exceptional natural environment At an altitude of 850 m, this chasm is about 60m by 30m and is accessible thanks to a platform of vision for a visit in full safety. It is the abyss of both absorption and collapse. The total depth reaches about 110m. This hole was a mass grave. When the horses were at the end of their life, their owner took them to this chasm. We guess then why this hole was prized crows.

One can, without fear of being accused of exaggeration, describe Fontestorbes as "Wonder of the World" and contrary to the seven wonders of the ancient world, all having in common to be the fact of the man, Fontestorbes is the only fruit of the chance of nature. A rare phenomenon and really extraordinary. For most of the year (7 to 9 months), the fountain runs constantly. On the other hand, during periods of low water from July to September, one day, it becomes abruptly intermittent over a complete cycle of about 60 to 90 minutes.

The fountain, once the place of processions and altars, was the village centre of old Mireval which was, according to memory, in a valley where tiles and carved stone was found.

The Frau Gorge is the result of a long geological evolution. The mountain of Frau is an accumulation of secondary folded and compressed tablecloths carved by the glaciations, the strong snows and numerous floods digging the valley in gorges.

Cimbing the steps leading to the top of the observatory affords you a magnificient view over the Tabe massif and the lake.
