On the Causse Terrassonnais, you can discover a very rich fauna and flora, many species of orchids to discover from March to July.

The building is thought to have been built by the Knights Templar, then recovered in the 14th century by the Hospitallers of the Commanderie de Saint Jean de Condat. The lower hall is quite exceptional, with its double arches and archaic cross-beams.

Church of the 12th and 16th centuries The church and buildings are the remains of a priory dependent on the abbey of Saint-Amand de Coly. The Romanesque building was redesigned and enlarged in the 16th century. What remains of the primitive church are the chevet, the north side wall, part of the south side wall and the lower part of the façade. In the 16th century, a aisle was added to the south side, which resulted in the opening of three arcades in the old drip wall, and groined vaults were built over the nave. From his distant past, Jayac kept the remains of a feudal dungeon. The church has preserved in its Romanesque choir, some sculpted capitals and above all a beautiful 15th century Pietà, unfortunately very mutilated. As far as the small heritage is concerned, we can see two round dry-stone huts on the hillside to the north, an ox shoeing work in the village and a well; and, at the exit of the village, a wash-house which, as a testimony of the Jayacois humour, bears two unexpected inscriptions: Don de l'Évêque and Don du Moine (nicknames of the local owners). Jayac now has the science school attended by the township's students.

Chapel of the 4th quarter 12th century; 1st quarter 13th century; 14th century; 15th century; 16th century; 19th century Chapel from the end of the 12th century, remains of a small priory which depended on the abbey of Terrasson. The building was visibly redesigned in its western part, both on the façade (14th-15th century) and on the portal, some decorative elements of which evoke the 16th century. The priory disappeared at an unknown time. It is a rectangular building with a slate roof, a single nave, a flat chevet and a western portal flanked by a bailey. A small one-bay bell tower-wall punctuates the west façade. The west portal with three scrolls seems to be the result of several alterations. In the Gothic period, the Romanesque portal was rebuilt with reused capitals; then a sculpted decoration was made in the 16th century on the first scroll.

Adjacent to Le Pêcher, Le Cerisier is its mirror image with a big difference however because it has a large mezzanine and an extra bathroom making it even more comfortable. It also benefits from two terraces.

The Laurier is the upper part of the farmhouse that was built in 1902. At the time of the farmhouse, Le Laurier was the attic. Le Laurier is a very spacious gîte for 6 people. The living room has views of the pool and the hills all around. The terrace overlooks the golf course.

The Atelier was partly the stable for the horses of the farm and partly the wash-house fed by the source of the Crouquets. It has been transformed into a very comfortable and spacious cottage that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.
