This gite consists of a spacious living/dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster). Two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with twin beds, a shower room, separate toilet. Basement with washing machine, dryer and a room that can be used as a playroom. Wifi. The Exhibition of the Art Professions is housed in the Villedieu-les-Poêles Tourist Office. The exhibition area of 90 m² is situated opposite the reception.Three times per year, this area is replenished with new works of art from the artisans and are on sale to the public. On average, about eighty creators participate. These exhibitions constantly surprise visitors by the diverse multitude of materials worked, the different techniques used and the diverse and varied inspiration of the Norman and French artisans of art.

A know-how of excellence for a fun and surprising visit ! In a very attractive workshop from XIX century, some traditional techniques of moulding with a base of clay, of horse manure and goats hair mixed with modern technology like analysing the resonance to check the sound of the bells. The new bells of Notre Dame in Paris were made here. At the end of the visit you can ring the bells with a mallet to create some melodies or listen to the range of little bells. This educational and fun visit ends in the themed shop where you will find the best of the local crafts: bells and hand bells, weather vanes, copper cookware and local products...

Discover the last copper workshop in France. You will be able to see the ancient craftmanship of these passioned workers throughout a guided tour.

Located on the same land as the owners, you will enjoy a beautiful view of a landscaped park with lots of trees from the kitchen/veranda, which is the charm of this gite.
