Welcome to Lombez! Lombez is in the department of the Gers which is part of the Toulouse area of Gascony. This small town, with just over 2000 inhabitants, is proud to have such a prestigious past: 500 years with a Benedictine faith abbey, 500 years of being a bishopric which means the area a bishop is in charge of and over a 100 years with the title of sub-prefecture. Lombez has always drawn its wealth from grain farming thanks to the river Save’s alluvium. Treat yourself to a 10 step journey taking you from the cathedral’s forecourt to discover the village huddled around it, so we can enlighten you and answer all your questions about this area.

A picturesque tour to the charming villages of Castelnau-d'Anglès and Montesquiou. Stop in Montesquiou for a coffee or lunch and a walk. The village is on the GR653 hiking trail that takes hikers and cyclists to Toulouse and beyond . Leaving Montesquiou, you will have the pleasure of discovering a snail farm (Les Escargots de Malicorne), with possible tasting in season. On the way back to e-Vélo Gers, you will pass by the Saint-Laurent lake with the possibility to have a picnic and a walk. The circuit totals 47 km and 511 m of positive elevation gain, with the possibility of doing more if you turn off towards Bassoues before the lake.

A circuit around Lupiac and Lac St-Jean, passing through the small villages of Peyrusse-Grande, Peyrusse-Vieille, Gazax and St-Pierre-d'Aubézies. At the halfway point, the tour descends to Lac St-Jean, where you can spend time in the bird observatory overlooking the lake, take a walk and have a peaceful picnic. Before returning to e-Vélo Gers, the tour stops in the village of Lupiac to explore the museum and history of D'artagnan. This is a short tour for a relaxing day out.

A long circuit from Lupiac westward to the village of Tasque and then southward along the floodplain of the Arros, entering Plaisance from the north. The route crosses a total of four valleys for a total elevation gain of 684 m. The return to e-Vélo Gers is via Peyrusse-Vieille and Peyrusse-Grande.

An excursion along both sides of the Douze valley with a stop to explore the village of Lupiac, passing by the castle of Castelmore, birthplace of d'Artagnan, then on to Séailles and Avéron-Bergelle. This circuit allows you to discover the magnificent landscapes of the Gers while avoiding the big towns.

We cross three valleys (of the Mouliaque, the Guiroue and the Auzoue) on the way to Riguepeu and its charming restored water mill. After passing the ancient Roman ruin ("La pile Gallo Romaine dite La Montjoie") there is a short stretch off road roads through the fields before passing Domaine Boca, Tudelle and then the village of Bazian. Stop in Bazian to explore and picnic. Leaving Riguepeu, the route is picturesque with distant views of the Pyrenees.

A relatively short tour that has everything to please. For wine and Armagnac lovers, we start at the Domaine de Bilé, then enter the picturesque village of Bassoues, where you can visit the village and its listed monuments, and even stop for a light lunch. Leaving Bassoues, the route follows the trail along the western shore of Lake St. Lawrence, a great place for a picnic if you haven't already eaten. If you have energy, you can take a 6 km walk around the lake. A relaxing day.

A grand tour of the vineyards and wineries of the Saint-Mont appellation, via Aignan, Sabazan and Saint-Go. On a sunny day, the route along the ridge south over the Midour River is beautiful with the Pyrenees to the south and vineyards in abundance. A long circuit well worth the effort. If time permits, stop at the exotic gardens of La Palmeraie de Sartou. The return trip via Fromentas and Castelnavet includes some long climbs and descents before returning to e-Vélo Gers

The highlight of this tour is the picturesque village of St-Arailles with its towers and arches. But the tour also includes forest tracks and paths through the state forest of Armagnac. Visit the historic Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Bretous, just past St-Arailles. It is recommended to have a picnic below St-Arailles.

Via Castillon-Debats to Lannepax for lunch, and perhaps a tasting at Armagnac Delord, before returning via the lake of Candau. Take the whole day, quietly, with good breaks. Or do the 2-hour circuit at a good pace, without stops.

This fully renovated cottage with 360° views has 2 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom or shower room. It is about 50 meters from our house, separated from our property by the swimming pool (12 m x 5 m), to which our guests have access. The cottage has its own private terrace, perfect for dining in the evening or at lunchtime, or for relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking view. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens onto a spacious living room with a wood burning stove. On the first floor, the 2 bedrooms and shower rooms offer the possibility of 4 beds (one bed 160, and one bed 140). The rooms are served by a staircase then a corridor which also opens on a balcony where you can have your coffee or read while admiring the countryside. The whole is air-conditioned.

Moncrabeau is a picturesque village located at the border of Lot-et-Garonne and Gers, and overlooking the Baïse valley. Known all over the world as the capital of the liars and of the funny faces, it is also a place with a real Gascony food tradition.

In 2010, we will be ready, like every year, to welcome you on 3.5 tree-shaded hectars on the edge of the Baïse. Come to profit by the calm in deep countryside, in the family and convivial atmosphere that characterizes too well le Mouliat ! During these hard periods, the campsite proposes prices among the lowest. Le Mouliat still suggests activities such as lively evening-danses on Mondays and Thursdays, game for children, the swimming pool and a large range of facilities available to campers. Located in the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh vineyards, Clos Basté is a 10 ha vineyard, working according to the principles of certified organic farming. The estate offers a magnificent view of the Pyrenees and the Béarn hills. It is located in the village of Moncaup, known for its many fountains. Chantal and Philippe Mur offer you a guided tour of the winery and vineyards by appointment, a tasting of several wines and a sale at the property. They will help you discover their passion for wine and the terroir. From mid-July to the end of August, they organise winegrowers' aperitifs every Thursday at 6pm.

Passez auprès de celle-ci et suivez le sentier pentu. Plus bas, à l'intersection avec une piste plus large, tournez à gauche et redescendez en direction de la route goudronnée en bas du chemin de croix.Alternative : possibilité lorsque vous êtes à la chapelle, de redescendre vers votre véhicule en empruntant la route goudronnée qui suit le calvaire. A la croix VII, vue panoramique sur le village de Valentine, la centrale EDF, le lac de Sède.
