The covered market replaces the one that disappeared in the fire of 1282 at the end of the 15th century. It was modified in the 17th century to stabilize it. A span was removed to build a hard limestone gable. The weekly market is always there. As well as the traditional fat poultry fair (it has existed for more than 90 years) which takes place on the second Saturday of December each year.

Saint-Martin Church is located in the heart of the village of Egreville. It is built on the foundations and some walls of an earlier chapel that disappeared in a large fire in the 13th century. It was damaged during the hundred-year war and rebuilt in the 15th century. The belfry that served as a watchtower is attached to the church in the sixteenth century and becomes its main entrance. This chapel is another example of a rich religious heritage present at Les Riceys for several centuries. This chapel has the particularity of having been built by a family for its own private use.

The Chapel of St Sebastien was built in the 16th century and is listed as a Historical Monument since 1980.

St Clair Chapel is probably the oldest of Les Riceys since it was founded in the early 16th century. Its façade was transformed over the centuries which explains why its architectural style does not correspond to the 16th century style.

This chapel is very old. It is mentioned as early as 1612 but its construction is probably earlier. It is dedicated to St Roch, a pilgrim who gave his life for the poor and the sick. Miraculously saved from the plague, St Roch became an example of hope for all the population affected by this disease. The village, troubled by this epidemic during the first half of the 17th century, decided to build this chapel dedicated to St Roch and the hope of healing. Father Champion, a monk from Les Riceys, officiated many times and implored this patron saint to save the inhabitants of Les Riceys. The bones of father Champion were transferred to the chapel in 1875 to remember his role during this terrible epidemic. Saint Roch is celebrated on 16th August and a mass is organized every year in the chapel on this date.

Historically, the religious life in Les Riceys was intense, living brotherhoods, offices and processions actively followed, hence the building of many rural chapels and calvaries. The Riceys region alone has 16 chapels. These chapels were a place of collection and prayer, and some offices were celebrated there. Today there are 6 (St Clair, St Jacques, St Antoine, St Roch, St Sabine, St Sébastien), but they are among the most beautiful in the department. Several chapels were used as place of worship until the middle of the 20th century: the Chapel St Antoine, which dates from the 17th century, hosted solemn services on the Sunday following the feast of the Saint and on Easter Monday until 1939.

The chapel of St Jacques is another example of a small religious building established on the outskirts of Les Riceys. It is a testimony of the importance of religious life in the village.

The castle of Riceys-Bas and its large garden are part of the great history of France.
