The Quai des Peceaux, the romantic Quai des Mailles evoking ancient crafts, the 16TH stone Poncelot bridge, are all part of this lovely medieval town winding through a Renaissance ‘Little Venice’ along the River Marne. This former seigneurial court was created in 1561 by Antoinette de Bourbon. It is one of the only survivors in France. You will discover inside numerous reconstructions (80 models dressed up as life-size). You will meet "good king" Saint Louis, you will relive the funeral pump of Claude de Lorraine but also the visit to Joinville of Louis XIII, with his musketeers and the cardinal of Richelieu. Before leaving, be allowed lock into the prisons of the Principality of Joinville.

The Three Valleys Region from Doulaincourt to Andelot, all the way to the borders of the Vosges, with nature that is breathtaking: trout streams, the region of orchids and of the “Cul du Cerf” (a precipice in the form of an amphitheatre). But it is also enriched with a remarkable religious heritage... This tavern exudes generosity and friendliness. Before sitting down to eat, Philippe will refresh you with a craft beers of its neighboring Vosges or Coiffy wine glass that you will be pleased to discover. Then Sylwia will feast you with a simple and generous cuisine inspired by his native country, Poland. Do not hesitate to push the door of this typical place of our region, you will certainly be welcomed.

Saint-Dizier: the town of iron and cast iron work with its “Guimard Art Nouveau” architecture also has a rich cultural programme throughout the year: cabaret evenings, concerts, street entertainment, etc. and its wonderful Italian-style theatre.

The Region of Der and its lake covering 4, 800 hectares surrounded by forests: it offers water sports as well as on land activities and the sight of common cranes in November. But it also has a rich heritage: timber-frame architecture and 16th century stained-glass windows, the tourist center of the stud farm and the abbey-church in Montier-en-Der ... and in November, migration of the ashy cranes and the “International festival of the Animalist Photograph and Nature”.
