This loop guarantees you an incredible diversity of landscapes! The secure cycle paths take you past the ocean beaches, the marine lake of Port d'Albret, the forest of tall pines and the shady shores of Lake Soustons. Get on your bike and discover the beauty of the south coast of the Landes.

AN ARTISTIC ROUTE BETWEEN SOUSTONS CITY AND SOUSTONS BEACH The concretization of a project a little bit crazy! It is an incredible project which sees the day along the 8 kilometers of the soft way which connect the lake of Soustons to the ocean beach! SCULPTURES IMAGINED BY CHILDREN AND MADE BY STUDENTS All started from the communal will to develop an educational, environmental and cultural project of territory, concretized thanks to the imagination of the teacher and the pupils of CM2 of the school of Isle Verte and to the meeting with an eco-interpreter with whom they worked on the artistic interpretation of the fauna and the flora met on these 8 kilometers of green way.

1.2 km long, the seafront promenade will allow you to admire the beaches of Hossegor and the Place des Landais, an architectural site classified as an "area for the enhancement of architecture and heritage" of the most prestigious. You will take a footbridge inaugurated in 2010 while enjoying the view of the ocean and the Pyrenees chain.

From the picnic area on the road to Bénesse, climb up to the highest point at 64 m. Along a marked walking route of almost 2 km, discover the local fauna and flora. Perched on one of the viewpoints, contemplate the horizon, the Marais d'Orx and the 9 churches with the help of the orientation tables. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees and the ocean in the distance... Discover the forest, its heritage and natural riches and meet the people who contribute to its preservation thanks to the 9 educational panels: 1- These trees that the forest hides 2- Fauna: they see without being seen! 3- Fauna seen from the sky 4- A tuc... what is it? 5- Under the forest, the beach 6- The Marais d'Orx, a living space 7- A production forest 8- Hunters of all kinds 9- The cameras have an eye !

An abandoned and dilapidated goshawk, which the knowledgeable handymen of the City Council have rehabilitated. This one culminates on a hillock, the fifth explanatory site described during the walk. Signs briefly tell the life of the Landes forest. The one of the ditches evokes swamps, the road to Compostela, shepherds, sanitation... The cork oaks are an excuse to learn about their economic role in Vieux-Boucau. Further on, the walker learns about the gluttony of the maritime pine swallowing its 45 tons per day for a wooded hectare. The fourth stop, in a clearing, reminds us of the damage caused by Klaus. The circuit climbs up to the pigeon house and the explanations of this traditional hunting.
