Les Chalets d'Iraty

Whether you dream of escape, nature, a change of scenery or rest, the Chalets d'Iraty will be your ideal destination all year round. In the heart of the Basque Country, between 1300 and 1500 metres above sea level, you will stay in one of the 40 wooden chalets in the heart of the Iraty forest, with no facing buildings. You will have the privilege of staying in a transhumance area where you will be able to see horses, sheep and other animals in the wild.
A change of scenery is guaranteed in an environment where nature changes colours with the seasons: hiking, fishing; pastoralism in spring; horseback riding, mountain biking and tennis in summer; mushroom picking, observation of migratory birds in autumn, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
