Château de Brugnac

Description

The castle of Brugnac, in the commune of Bossugan, is a 14th century tower, preserved in an admirable state on the edge of the plateau overlooking the Gamage valley. Surrounded by more modern buildings (XV-XVI century), this tower built, according to Léo Drouyn, by Jordan de Puch between 1280 and 1320 is, he says, "the best made and the most cared for of this part of the Bazadais".
