Bastide de Lévignac-de-Guyenne
Description
Bastide founded in 1305 by Edward I of England. Relay between Miramont and Monségur.
The town plays an administrative and defence role
The covered way is created after the Hundred Years War.
A Place de la Halle was obtained by demolishing the church in the 18th century to make way for the prune market. The new church was built outside the walls in 1865.
The castle was demolished in 1793.
