Built in the 12th century, this church was transformed in the 19th century when it became the chapel of the minor seminary. Its 12th century facade preserves a beautiful sculpted frieze evoking the cycle of the childhood of Christ. In the 1860s, the chapel received an impressive painted decoration intended for the minor seminarians. The educational program illustrates the foundations of the Catholic Church. The shimmering color palette and the multiplicity of artistic influences remind us that the 19th century was a century of eclecticism.
