Pedestrian footbridge it crossed the pond of the Villette in its center, to connect the quay of the Loire with the South (where it begins in the alignment of the street of the Moselle) in the bank of the Seine in the North (where it ends almost in the axis of the passage of Flanders). Built in 1882 by the engineer and the entrepreneur Armand Moisant, it had in the time a height under key of 11,60 meters for a reach of 86 meters in a single bow, and was decorated with a clock 3 meters in diameter. This work, become dilapidated, was replaced in 1966.
