Located between the cities of Tulle and Brive-la-Gaillarde, this village, made of wooden hills, is built on a prehistoric site. This place used to be very important during the Middle Ages since the currency were beaten there under the Merovingians, then besieged during the Religion wars and, more recently, a land of Resistance. The Romanesque church and the dungeon are the remains of this rich history, which watch the valley of the river Corrèze.
