These trees were offered in 1864 by the brother of the Japanese Emperor to Mr de Leffe, constructor of the railway line Montluçon / Limoges. The 11 trees were planted to decorate the new train station, at the branch line of Saint-Sulpice Laurière / Montluçon and Paris / Limoges. With a circumference going from 2,70 m to 3,10 m and a height of 25 m. Their curiosity lives in the rarity of the species and their plantation in line.
