The Apollon gîte is located in the heart of the village of Grand, in the Vosges plain crossed by the Meuse, right in the center of the Grand Est region. Joan AYLING is delighted to welcome you to this large, comfortably-appointed house, which has been renovated to accommodate families, friends, groups and disabled guests, with a modular capacity of 13 people.
The astonishing Gallo-Roman amphitheatre (17,000 seats) is just 400 m from the gîte. You can also admire one of Europe's largest mosaics and follow in the footsteps of the famous Joan of Arc (her home is in Domremy, 20 km away). The village is situated on a plateau, among forests, in the heart of the countryside, with a dense network of footpaths and bike trails. The atmosphere is rural, Lorraine-like and calm.
Staying at Grand means you can discover the local heritage and easily set off to explore the many sites and towns in the region (Neufchâteau, Vaucouleurs, Vittel, Nancy, Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises, Gérardmer, Verdun...).
The gîte is not suitable for noisy parties or late evenings on the terrace.
