PORT DE¨PLAISANCE
Description
On an arm of the Meuse and downstream from the mill reach, it was a trading port before becoming a marina. Small barges were loaded with products from the forge, hay and wood, while others brought grain, coal, slate and fish from the North Sea. The latter were salted on the "sorerie" island, today a reception and service area for motor homes.
Garage mort possible in winter at the Port de Stenay. Payment in summer at the Stenay harbor office.
