Today, it is the tourist who goes up to the assault on Charlemont, a privileged witness of History.
Discover, in the open air, on a signposted circuit, the Pointe-Est, the old village, the siege hospital and the superb viewpoints over the Meuse and Givet rivers.
The site has been protected as a Historic Monument since October 24, 1927.
Free and guided tours are offered to discover the history of this emblematic place.
Charlemont is open from April to October
APRIL-MAY-OCTOBER : Weekends and holidays from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm
JUNE-SEPTEMBER : Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 6:30pm
JULY and AUGUST : Every day (except Tuesday) from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Outside of the opening period, the site is open by reservation, to groups of 15 people or more.
The site is partly accessible free of charge.
Only the Pointe Est is not free (Adult 6 € - Child 4 € including the fun trail "A l'assaut de Charlemont" on smartphone).

Access to the site is from Givet via the road under Charlemont, on foot or with a vehicle. The site has parking for coaches, cars and bicycles.
Tickets are on sale in the reception building.
