Saint-Pierre church is located on a hill overlooking the Dordogne valley (one of the most beautiful panoramas of the region).
The building, although largely Gothic, is Romanesque at the base (as evidenced by its south wall from the 11th century).
In the 14th century, the church was rebuilt. The single nave (composed of cross vaults with ribbed vaults, ending in a flat chevet), as well as the western façade and its bell tower-wall date from this period.
Another phase of construction takes place towards the end of the 15th century (or at the beginning of the 16th century): the north aisle is then built and the bell-tower-wall is transformed into a bell-tower.
The choir of the church is decorated with paintings dating from the mid-19th century.
