Les croix rurales
Description
Montagny-Sainte-Félicité possède six croix. Symboles d’accueil et de protection, repères au milieu de la campagne, elles marquaient aussi les limites du village. Elles servaient également de but aux processions religieuses (voir ci-contre). Souvent dons de généreux paroissiens, rappelant tel évènement, les 229 croix recensées dans le Valois sont pour la plupart en fer forgé et datent du19e s.
