The area’s outbuildings house two exhibitions which show works coming from the castle’s collection. "Le Cabinet de curiosités de Jehay" ("Jehay’s Cabinet of Curiosities") and "Trésors venus d’Irlande" ("Treasures from Ireland"), allow visitors to discover two specific aspects of this vast and remarkable collection of works of art.The castle, surrounded by moats, is located in an idyllic setting. The Italianate parks and gardens are truly verdant settings in which, particularly, remarkable trees and trained lime trees edging pathways jostle for position.The old vegetable garden, dating back to the 19th century, has recently been restored. At the edge of the wood, surrounded by a brick wall and spreading out over a one-hectare area, the setting invites daydreaming.
