Missegle

One of the last knitting workshops in France. Direct sales in our workshop shop Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm. Visits to the workshop are possible on certain days by prior arrangement.
Atelier Missegle has been specialising in the manufacture of natural fibre products for almost 40 years. The workshop, which can be visited, offers a unique choice of socks made from mohair, merino wool, organic Scottish yarn, yak down or camel down. This is where you can buy the strongest sock in the world! They also knit woollen jumpers, scarves, gloves, mittens, hats, plaids, blankets, etc... The Missegle workshop has held the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label since 2016, thanks to the exceptional skills it has carefully preserved.

Guided tour of the studio:
January to June: free visit on Thursdays at 10.30am - by prior arrangement (group by prior arrangement)
July and August (free visit): Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10.30am, by prior arrangement (group by prior arrangement)
September and October: Free visit on Thursdays at 10.30am - by prior arrangement (group by prior arrangement)
November and December: no visit
