Pic de Nore

The Pic de Nore culminates at 1211m. It is located near the Tarn/Aude border, close to the Natural Regional Park of Haut-Languedoc.
Weather conditions are harsh. Conifer forests stop within 100 metres of the top of the mountain and then it is a clear-cut vegetation (heather moors).

When weather conditions are optimum, there is a magnificent and large panorama: Pyrenean chain, Mediterranean Sea, mountains of Lacaune, plain around Toulouse...
