Known as the "Croix de la Louve" or "Calvaire du moulin de Boler", this calvary was erected in 1713 by François Lapierre.
Legend has it that Pierre and Madeleine, a couple returning from the cemetery after losing their son, were attacked by a wolf. But the couple was defended by an army of crows who pounced on the animal and gouged out its eyes. The wolf then fled and in gratitude for this miracle, the couple had this Calvary built (Bildstock). Each of the sides of the Calvary has a different design, which is sure to interest you.
