Description

The Curel district, bordering Meurthe-et-Moselle, used to be home to cosmopolitan working-class families from the steel industry.
The construction of workers' housing was at the heart of social policy. Housing had to safeguard two principles: family life and good morals. Consequently, each dwelling had its own entrance and no room could be sublet.
