Viaduct of Rocherolles
Description
Built by the group of Paris-Orléans, from 1852 to 1854 by well built, trimmed blue granite bricks to border the valley of the Gartempe. 5,40 metres high, 187 metres long, 12 arches on two levels. Up to 2000 workers built it. The construction cost one and a half million gold francs.
