Situated on the southwest side of the Dordogne gorges below the village of Nougein, the Jardin de Bardot covers an
area of approximately 1200 m2. Although built on a fairly steep slope, the garden is divided into horizontal terraces supported by dry-stone walls, which allow plants to be grown in the exceptional micro-climate enjoyed by the area. Most of the plants grown here are shrubs (eg holly, medlar, lilac, wild maple and vines).
Unaccompanied visit; access via Le Busatier footpath.
