Au croisement des quatre chemins, tourner à droite. Cette piste sert de frontière entre les anciennes communes de Ferrières et de Castelnau de Brassac, maintenant fusionnées sous l'appellation Fontrieu. Au fur et à mesure de la descente on peut voir de magnifiques panoramas sur les Monts de Lacaune, le Sidobre, la Montagne Noire et les Pyrénées. Passer devant une statue-menhir.
