The coachman's plates
Description
Above the sign in the direction of Plumetot / Biéville Beuville and opposite on the other side of the road.
Remnants of local history in the 19th century, they were placed high up to be seen by carriage drivers travelling on the main roads. Five have been restored and left in place by a local volunteer enthusiast.
