Château Croix de Labrie

Description

Château Croix de Labrie is a 5.78 hectare estate located in the heart of the AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, an appellation that inevitably brings to mind Burgundy with its mosaic of plots and producers.

The vineyard is worked by Axelle Courdurié from pruning to harvesting, then to vinification and maturing. Axelle is very attentive to detail and brings her feminine sensitivity to the wines of Croix de Labrie.

The plots are located in Badon, Saint-Sulpice and on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes next to our cellar (dating back to 1687). The main grape variety on the property is Merlot (90%) but we also have a few rows of Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Cabernet Franc (3%).

The soils are worked, ploughed and double Guyot pruned.
