Description
This extraordinary 12C work of art has been carved out of the rock and constructed with impressive corbelling. Built by the monks from the abbey, it runs for a distance of 1.5km along the side of a rock to supply the monastery with water.

Free entrance. Guided tours for individuals in July-August. Information at the Aubazine Tourist Office. All year round for groups by prior arrangement with the tourist office. Duration: 1hr 30min. Entrance fee: 6€/individuals. Free admission for children under 6. Warning: Access is forbidden to dogs, bicycles, motorcycles and strollers. Climbing is also forbidden.
