Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Castets-en-Dorthe, proudly set above the junction of the Garonne and the Canal des Deux Mers, offers an exceptional viewpoint
The current buildings date from the 16th century but they rest on the foundations of a fortified place built in the 14th century by Guilhem de Goth, nephew of Pope Clement V. Henri IV stayed there in 1585.
