Description
La construction du pavillon de l'Horloge, par Jacques Lemercier, démarra en 1624, sous le règne de Louis XIII, pour ne s'achever que trente ans plus tard, sous celui de Louis XIV.
Son dernier étage décoré de cariatides domine le côté ouest de cour carrée du palais du Louvre.
