Bouray and its history - "Meet old crafts" museum

The museum "Meet old crafts" located in the center of Bouray-sur-Juine aims to publicize the old crafts of yesteryear trades
Composed by 7 rooms on more than 250m² with over 4,000 objects, the museum also runs through the way of life in the years 1850-1950 at home, at school or at the grocery store, through the presentation of tools but also scenes of everyday life. You can discover the feminine universe and daily life such as cooking or school, manual trades, an area dedicated to firefighters, a room devoted to agriculture but also many other trades and tools sometimes forgotten.
