Le Pont des Tines (The Tines bridge) is a geological feature located between the villages of Haut-Valromey and Ruffieu. This small canyon covered with green moss reveals the extent of its beauty during snowmelt or heavy rainfall.
The waters of the Seran have dug into the rock and created this surprising natural arch.
"Tines" means tub in the local former dialect, these are the names given to these strange cavities carved into the rock by the force of the current.
Accessible by the hiking trails from Songieu, Ruffieu, or from the D54 road.
Not to be confused with the Puit des Tines located a few kilometres downstream of the Séran river.
