Le puits Trou Martin
Description
La fosse Saint Martin ou "Trou Martin" de la compagnie des mines d'Anzin est un ancien haut-lieu du bassin minier du Nord-Pas-De-Calais. Son exploitation dura de 1803 à 1969, soit 166 ans mais de manière intermittente car le charbon n’était pas de très bonne qualité. L’exploitation cessa en septembre 1969 et le puits fut comblé en novembre de la même année.
Aujourd’hui, le puits est matérialisé par une plaque commémorative.
