The Himalayan footbridge was built on the old road leading from the Plateau d'Assy to Lac Vert. This flexible structure allows the Nant Bordon to be crossed at a height of 20 m above the watercourse. It can only be crossed on foot or by bicycle.
In order to blend into its environment, the footbridge was designed to be light and airy. It follows the route of the old Lac Vert road, which was closed in 1984 after it collapsed at the Nant Bordon.
At each end are the Regardeurs, a work created in 2020 by OPJ CYGANEK & JULIE POULAI.
Vehicles are parked in the Place Tobé car park, below the Notre-Dame-de-Toute-Grace church. A pedestrian pathway through the forest then provides access to the structure.
Free access.
