Le Drac Noir

Description

Cette dénomination est due à la nature des terrains traversés : le calcaire est plus sensible à l'érosion que les roches métamorphiques de la vallée de Champoléon (Drac Blanc), assombrissant ainsi les eaux du Drac. Bondissant de cascades en baignoires, se frayant un passage à travers les aulnes de la ripisylve, le Drac exprime ici sa nature de torrent de montagne. Truite fario, cincle plongeur et délicates éphémères se dévoilent à l'observateur attentif.
