Description
Depuis le refuge ou lors de la montée, une formation géologique particulière, sur la rive opposé au dessus de l’ancien hameau des Peines peut attirer votre attention. Se sont des roches d’origine sédimentaire coincées au milieu de formations cristallines qui présentent une forme d’érosion en draperie donnant l’impression qu’un tigre géant a donné des coups de griffes dans la roche. Cette morphologie particulière lui a valu le nom d’Arraches.
