The Château de Turenne, an exceptional site between earth and sky!
A remarkable site in the Corrèze, the Château de Turenne is a must-see destination for anyone staying in the Corrèze, the Lot or the Dordogne.
Located 15 kilometres south of Brive la Gaillarde, it is an obligatory stop on your tourist circuit.
Built on a rocky spur 350 metres high, the castle of Turenne is visible from all sides. From the courtyard of the castle, the views are breathtaking.
You will also appreciate its beautiful medieval buildings, such as the two large 13th century towers, which stand proudly above the charming village of Turenne, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

The castle is open :
- In April and October: every day from 10:30 am to 6 pm.
- In May, June and September: from 10.30am to 7.30pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 10.30am to 9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
- From July to August: every day from 10.30am to 9.30pm
- Off season (November to March): open on Sundays from 10.30am to 5pm on weekends, public holidays and during school holidays.
Adults (extended visit to the treasure room): €7.90
Under 18s, students, unemployed, disabled persons (on presentation of proof) and groups of 12 or more: €5.90
School groups of 15 children or more: €5 / 1 accompanying adult free.
